About me

Hello! I am Nargis Ali, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I believe we all have unique strengths that can help us navigate life’s challenges. Seeking out support through counseling is one way to rediscover and to foster those strengths. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgement.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions followed by an initial assessment on several areas and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adults, children/adolescents for the past 5 years at a hospital setting, I've developed experiences for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I support individuals in a collaborative approach to address varying presenting concerns such as stress, mood/anxiety disorders, depression, grief &loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, family issues, multicultural issues and more. Additionally, I’m specialized in working with children and adolescents using play-based therapy who develop symptoms from adoption, abandonment, divorce, trauma, academic or social problems.

I understand that life happens, but it would have been more appropriate to reschedule today’s session given the circumstances. The provider mentioned they were just coming from court, and the connection was very unstable. The frequent disconnections and audio issues made it extremely difficult to focus, stay engaged, or have a meaningful conversation.
