Welcome, and congratulations on starting your healing journey! Our sessions together will provide a warm, welcoming, and self-paced therapeutic environment to help you feel safe and supported while processing where you’ve been, and creating a clear vision for where you’re going. In our work together, we’ll utilize a variety of simple and accessible techniques catering to your needs for self-improvement, some of which may include changing problematic thoughts and behaviors, increasing acceptance and awareness toward self, building up your resiliency "tool box" to navigate complex emotions, and addressing any internal or relational roadblocks. I work with patients looking for support with stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, inattention, life transitions, and relationship issues. I have dedicated my clinical work to supporting people to believe that their have innate wisdom and internal resources to support themselves toward healing. I look forward to supporting you through this impactful endeavor!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know one another and discuss the purpose of therapy, my theraputic style, participation agreements, and most importantly, what brings you to therapy and the goals for an improved you!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I meet my clients where they are in processing their emotions and life experiences. I am sensitive to their needs in session and have a collaborative mindset to ensure a productive and encouraging therapy journey. Mindfulness (looking at present moment and understanding the truth of the way things are) is a skill that I try to incorporate in session in order to help my clients gain a deeper and compassionate understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

To have the most effective and rewarding therapeutic journey together, clients come in with an open mind and high motivation to explore and create change for themselves, as best as they can. I work well with adults 18-40, experiencing challenges such as anxiety, career/education exploration, existential, spiritual, and life transitions. I also like to support first generation immigrant clients of any culture.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

As human beings, we often utilize what we see, experience, and learn during childhood to navigate the world around us as adults, including our relationships! We will look into past family and caregiver history to see their impact on yourself and your relationships as an adult. From there, we can better see what can change to better increase the quality of your interpersonal interactions with others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a great way to help address those negative, worried, or sad thoughts that just won't go away! In our sessions together, we will identify those core thoughts and behaviors and change them into healthier, kinder ones that will allow you to thrive.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic is a more in-depth, analytical look into an individual to better understand and address their emotional pain. With this type of treatment, we will go into places of the past that remain in turmoil to help heal heart. I often use metaphorical, but incredibly impactful excersices to help you and I address the deeper issues at hand.
