About me

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia with 10 years of professional work experience. I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic principles to promote self-awareness, emotional balance, and personal growth. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can heal, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and goals so we can begin to create a plan that fits your needs. This session is also your chance to ask questions, share what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and get a sense of my style and approach. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you’re in a safe space to begin your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to blend compassion with practical, results-driven strategies. I combine evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT with a warm, humanistic style that helps clients feel both supported and empowered. I focus on helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts and emotions while equipping them with real-life tools they can use immediately. Clients often share that they appreciate my down-to-earth approach, the safe space I provide, and how therapy with me helps them gain clarity, build confidence, and experience lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to work on improving their emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, or life transitions and are looking for practical tools to manage their emotions and regain balance. I also work well with clients who want to break unhealthy patterns, strengthen communication, and develop greater self-awareness. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, relationship struggles, or simply striving for personal growth, I help you move toward healing, confidence, and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with individuals, couples, and families. In my practice, I use CBT as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. CBT is particularly effective for clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and anger management. I tailor the approach to fit each client’s needs—combining psychoeducation, mindfulness, and practical homework assignments to encourage active participation in the therapeutic process.

Humanistic

I incorporate a humanistic approach in my practice by creating a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. My experience with the humanistic treatment method emphasizes helping clients explore their own feelings, values, and sense of self so they can move toward greater self-awareness and personal growth.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, interpersonal conflict, and self-destructive behaviors. I appreciate that DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies, allowing clients to balance change and acceptance simultaneously.
