Hi. Are you seeking support, healing, or personal growth? Do you find yourself questioning choices you make in life, how you experience relationships, or do you find that the stressors in life are getting to be too much? Well perhaps, it is time to heal, rejuvenate, or just try to gain understanding and clarity? It is up to you to make the first step, and I will help you with the next. It is time to get to happiness or at least peace! I meet you where you are. We will work together to help you gain better insight, and address the emotional and mental difficulties that may be present due to past and current stressors. My name is Jen and I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) servicing individuals in Arkansas, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, and New Jersey. I have been practicing for more than 8 years and am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards personal growth and well-being. With experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics, I’m here to offer a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy. Are your ready?

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, you'll be greeted with warmth and compassion. We'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. Our session will be a safe space for you to share your truth, without any judgment. After I have an understanding of your current stressors and or symptoms, I will be able to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my compassion, empathy and making sure my clients feel seen. I really enjoy this profession, for I find comfort in helping others heal. I am a great listener and I am very encouraging.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with college students and adults of all ages. The clients I work with are usually feeling burdened by life's stressors and often feel stuck and out of sorts. Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and adjustment disorders, are symptoms and problems that I frequently treat.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I draw from a variety of treatment approaches, including existential therapy (focusing on meaning and purpose of life), reality therapy (present day and personal responsibility), client centered therapy (innate goodness and potential) and cognitive behavior therapy (thoughts and behaviors affect outcomes).
