Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor from Pennsylvania. I received my Masters in 2021 in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling with an additional focus in College Counseling. I am also a Geek Therapist. I help individuals who are struggling with overwhelm from the demands of life, especially individuals who are facing additional adversity such as being apart of the neurodivergent and/or LGBTQ+ community or struggle with chronic illness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is geared towards us starting to become familiar with each other. This is where you have an opportunity to share your hopes or expectations from counseling, and I share more about what I can provide. Then, you're able to share more of your story during an intake so we can put together a treatment plan that's tailored to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself as being intentional with my clients. It's almost become a cliche saying, but I do my best to "meet my clients where they're at." That involves engaging with interests, vocabulary, and examples that relate to therapeutic concepts but are explained in a way that fits who you are as an individual.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about collaborating with clients who have faced challenges. This includes individuals from the LGBTQIA community, as well as those living with ADHD, Autism, chronic illnesses, and various other difficulties. Our sessions might focus on setting goals, healing from past pain or trauma, gaining understanding, and developing self-esteem or skills tailored to your specific needs.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT Therapy allows for an examination of your personal values and how that weaves together with pragmatic application for your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to examine how our experiences have shaped our thought patterns in a way that harms us more than helps us and teaches practical skills on how to reframe those patterns.

Existential

Existential therapy focuses on aligning personal values and meaning to your actions and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is an approach that helps with emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills, among other things.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based focuses on healing the attachment wounds people received from early caregivers or early-life experiences in the hopes of developing a healthier view of oneself and others.
