About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southern California. I received my Master's Degree from Capella University and have been practicing for 4 years. I am certified in Equine Assisted-Psychotherapy through Eagala, and love to implement the presence of horses in sessions when possible for clients in Riverside county and surrounding areas. I help families and individuals navigate life's challenges by providing a supportive space to explore experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions then I will want to know some background information of what brings you to therapy. In order to create a treatment plan unique to your needs, I will want to know what your goals are for our time together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a former first responder, I have seen and heard some of the most devastating things humanity has to offer. With that, I am able to explore trauma with my clients and manage crisis if necessary. Being able to create an environment for my clients to explore the darkest areas of life can help expose the roots of unhealthy coping skills and lead to a path of resilience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with Veterans, First Responders and their families. As a former first responder, I have a unique perspective of the toll that trauma exposure can take on individuals and their families. My clients are typically experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, substance abuse, relationship distress, and ideas of self-harm.

I use attachment-based therapy to help clients explore the impact of early relationships on their current emotional patterns and connections. I guide individuals in building healthier bonds, enhancing self-awareness, and strengthening relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I implement Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop skill sin mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. By focusing on balancing acceptance and change, I empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
