About me
I am Dr. Demetria Hill, an African American Licensed Professional Counselor who resides in Valdosta, GA. I have been in the counseling field over twenty-five years and have worked in a variety of setting within the mental health field. I specialize in working with African American women who have experienced trauma and couples who are engaged and married. I incorporate the individual into their treatment making them responsible for their healing with me as their assistant.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I stand out because I am relatable, show my human side and being able to reach people without them feeling that they're being judged. Having them to process and repeat statements that they make regarding the issues and progress that they have made.

I am best positioned to provide services to African American women who have experienced trauma (childhood and adult), directly and indirectly. We set the desired goals together and establish a treatment plan which makes the goals achievable.
