About me

My goal as a therapist is to combine empathy, understanding and knowledge with evidence-based treatment strategies, designed collaboratively, to help my clients meet their individual goals and enjoy a smoother daily experience and more satisfying relationships. Finding the right therapist is not easy, but I'm hopeful that I can be someone who can help you navigate life's overwhelming struggles, to walk along side you during this tough time to build skills, strengths, and abilities to become your best self. As an LMFT, with 20+ years of experience providing therapy in schools, clinics, in-home, and crisis shelters, I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and their families to overcome issues of crisis, anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationship struggles, grief/loss and others. When working with children/teens, I believe in regular communication with parents, helping them navigate the path with their child. Parent consultations are centered around trusted behavioral concepts and building healthy relationships. I offer a flexible counseling model in which sessions can shift between individual or family sessions as needed. If you would like to schedule a consultation. I'd welcome the opportunity to hear your story and determine if I am the right therapist for you or your child.
