You are taking steps to answer questions and find solutions to real problems. Many of us are navigating systems that were not designed to nourish us, and growing through hardships that leave us feeling isolated and overwhelmed. I specialize in helping people (especially LGBTQ+ and minoritized communities) understand how therapeutic skills (acceptance and commitment, interpersonal skills, trauma work, emotion regulation) can be applied to overcome and liberate. By enhancing your strengths, reworking and relearning coping mechanisms, reframing beliefs about the world and yourself, and enacting mindful behaviors with intention, you can find a way through. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, we'll review standard questions about your current reasons for seeking psychotherapy, your health and wellbeing, and your history. We will discuss relevant diagnoses that can help us plan specific interventions that will be most beneficial to you. We will work together to make sure that you are getting your needs addressed.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked for many years in empowerment and liberation approaches for LGBTQ+ people, BIPOC, and Autistic people (and the intersection of these identities). Aiding Trans* individuals in accessing quality medical care and gender-affirming care is a priority of mine. In addition, beyond general anxiety and depression relief, I specialize in helping people manage OCD/OCD-spectrum disorders and Bipolar Disorder.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Transgender clients, Queer clients / LGBTQ, Autistic and Neurodiverse clients.
