Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the idea that unhealthy thinking patterns contribute depression and anxiety. The goal of CBT is to identify negative thoughts and challenge and reframe negative thoughts. Restructuring thinking to more positive thoughts can decrease anxiety and improve mood. We will utilize thought logs as tools and work together restructure thinking patterns.

Strength-Based

I utilize the Strength-based model aims to improve your mindset and quality of life. In utilizing the strength-based model, we will focus on your resources and your strengths. We will utilize tools including strengths list, reframing weaknesses, journaling.

Supportive

Utilizing supportive therapy, I integrate various therapeutic approaches. The goal is to form a strong therapeutic relationship. I will support you, help establish realistic goals, focus on healthy coping mechanisms and help problem solve.
