About me

Hello! I am Jackeline Balarezo- Ruvalcaba. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life. I have 14 years of experience working within the school district, foster system and young and older adults in mental health. I am very passionate in guiding individual to reach their full potentials and empowering them to meeting their goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My communication style is calm, friendly, and personable. I always provide an open space for clients to express themselves free of judgment or guilt. I always listen first and aspire to help clients see their troubles from different perspectives. And I always appreciate them confiding in me.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I like to set clear goals with clients and meet them where they are. I am empathetic and I am great at listening and letting clients know that I am there to help meet their needs. I work with adults and adolescents, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief and loss using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (or “CBT”).

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My focus is always on empowering my clients to become self-reliant by teaching them coping skills, showing them how to identify and manage their individual triggers and stressors, and helping them develop a positive outlook on life by teaching them how to see their strengths and address their triggers.
