I’ve spent the past 9 years working primarily with children and adolescents that struggle with behavior issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self-harm, that live in foster homes or have family conflict. In the past three years I have expanded to working with adults and elderly patients with childhood trauma, mood disorders, depression, anxiety or are seeking parenting skills to address their child’s behavior or couple issues/family counseling.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
With my knowledge of working with clients of all ages, I’ve learned how to be flexible to finding solutions that work best for my clients.
I love working with clients that struggle with finding solutions or are seeking coping skills to manage parts of their lives that are difficult. Whether it’s reducing stress, anxiety, depression or improving their family interactions, seeing their success by processing what hasn’t worked and finding new ways to solve the problem reminds me there are endless solutions to reach their goals.
I use a mix of treatment methods based on the needs of my clients. CBT, mindfulness, and play therapy techniques are the most common.
