Hi! I’m a licensed counselor in Indiana and my dream client is motivated to work together to make healthy changes. I specialize in stress management, depression, relationships, and anxiety related disorders. I'm also a licensed clinical addictions counselor and enjoy working with others to implement healthy changes.

First session

The first session will be gathering information about you and your specific situation and setting some solution specific goals. I ask about your family and current living situation as well as your presenting concerns.

I love working with 18–60-year-old population! Previously worked as a college mental health counselor, and love working with that population. I'm passionate about promoting healthy living both physically and emotionally.

I originally came to Tom because of a rough breakup, but found myself quickly opening up about other problems I was facing. Tom is a fantastic listener, and does not force you to speak about anything that makes you uncomfortable. His warm and authentic presence made me want to open up. On the flip side, he is also very solution-oriented. Tom helps you to create a plan to progress toward your desired goals. No session ever felt like a waste of time. I could not recommend Tom DeHorn enough.
