Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working with clients in Nevada and Arizona. I have been practicing as an LCSW since 2009. I am trained in EMDR and CBT and have seen great success in my clients. Our first session will be getting to know each other. I am a very inquisitive therapist and strive to truly understand my clients. I realize each client is an individual coming to me with a lifetime of experiences, beliefs, traditions, and more. I see my clients and unique individuals and not just a name on my list. I will work hard to make you feel comfortable as we converse and find the specific areas we can work on .

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients learn that their thoughts, feelings, physical sensations an actions are interconnected. The understanding to know that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a negative cycle. CBT will help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking the down into smaller parts.

EMDR

I use EMDR to guide my clients by focusing on a specific traumatic memory, identifying the related negative image, belief, emotion, and body sensations, while simultaneously providing bilateral stimulation to help process and desensitize the distress associated with that memory. Ultimately aiming to replace the negative belief with more positive one.
