I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a passion for helping both teens and adults navigate life's challenges and discover their true potential. My approach is collaborative, meaning that I believe in working together to find the strategies and insights that will best support your journey. I view you as the expert on your own life, and my role is to guide and support you as you navigate your path. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore your challenges, and develop a plan that aligns with your values and goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We'll begin with a friendly and relaxed introduction to get to know each other a bit. I'll ask you to share what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to achieve. This is your space to talk about your experiences, challenges, and goals. We'll discuss some basic information about the therapy process, confidentiality, and what you can expect in our sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe and empathetic environment, my commitment to evidence-based practices, and my holistic approach to therapy.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

They are individuals who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process with a willingness to explore their thoughts and feelings deeply, seeking to understand the root causes of their challenges. Whether they are adolescents navigating the complexities of growing up, parents seeking support for their teenagers, or adults facing significant life changes, my clients share a common desire to move beyond their current struggles and achieve a greater sense of well-being. They understand that therapy is a journey and are prepared to invest the time and effort required to see real progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my experience Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is essential to provoking change when your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are unaligned. I have utilized this treatment method for those who would like to be able to better navigate life challenges with the knowledge of how their thoughts can influence their feelings which then can lead to certain behaviors. I use this method in my practice to assist others better understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviors to improve their quality of life.

Reality Therapy

I guide clients in identifying behaviors that are counterproductive to their goals and help them understand the consequences of these actions. Through this exploration, clients become more aware of the choices they are making and the impact these choices have on their ability to meet their needs. Reality Therapy emphasis on choice, responsibility, and practical solutions resonates well with clients and empowers them to take control of their lives

Motivational Interviewing

MI emphasizes supporting clients’ belief in their ability to change. By affirming their strengths and past successes, I help build their confidence. We discuss their previous attempts at change, identifying what worked and what didn’t, and use these insights to bolster their self-efficacy. By focusing on empathy, collaboration, and eliciting clients’ own motivations, MI helps clients overcome resistance and build the confidence to make positive changes in their lives.
