Hello and Welcome! Hopefully, we can work together to get you closer to your goals! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has been in the field for 17 years working with a range of populations. I earned my bachelor's degree from Tuskegee University with a major in Psychology. I then received my master's degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida with a major in Counseling, with dual specialization in marriage & family counseling & mental health counseling. My goal is to provider a safe, comforting, yet firm environment for clients to process current challenges and understand how therapy can aid in welcomed outcomes.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Being trained in postmodern therapies, I have utilized SFT throughout my career. This allows client's to find the exception to their challenges. Together, we will identify the problem and work toward resolving the problem by also identifying solutions to alleviate the clients unwanted symptoms.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is utilized during session to "connect the dots". I have learned that when clients are able to connect thoughts, behaviors and consequences, it helps to reframe their thinking.
