My approach blends mindfulness, practical strategies, and talk therapy in a compassionate, down-to-earth way. I help people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, stuck in self-doubt, or exhausted from overthinking. My approach is focused on real change—helping you build emotional resilience, break free from patterns that no longer serve you, and reconnect with who you truly are and who you want to be.
In our first session, you’ll find a welcoming space to share what's on your mind and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s getting in your way and discuss your goals, past therapy experiences, and expectations. We’ll introduce tools like mindfulness right away and start identifying your values. Together, we’ll create a plan for moving forward and lay the groundwork for meaningful progress.
I believe my greatest strength as a provider is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and vulnerable. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on practical strategies, which allows me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs. I also believe that having a good sense of humor helps a lot!
I work best with people who feel things deeply, who overthink, self-blame, or struggle to set boundaries without guilt. If you’re tired of feeling emotionally drained, stuck in the same patterns, or like you’re constantly trying to be “enough”, you’re not alone. I help people become less fused to the thoughts that keep them stuck, build self-trust, and find a sense of peace within themselves.
Life can be overwhelming and exhausting with overthinking, operating out of emotions, and self-doubt, but it doesn’t have to be that way. In our work together, we’ll use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build resilience and psychological flexibility—not by fighting or avoiding your thoughts/feelings/sensations/memories, but by changing your relationship with them.
