My name is Quin Rainey, and I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, supporting a wide variety of individuals on their journeys toward healing and growth. Through my work, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people from all walks of life as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. My dream client in therapy is someone who is ready and open to change—an adult or couple who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but who holds a genuine desire to grow, heal, and build a more fulfilling life. They may be navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or internal struggles like anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional pain. What makes them ideal is their willingness to explore, reflect, and take steps toward meaningful transformation. Whether individually or as a couple, they value the therapeutic space as a place of support, discovery, and empowerment, and they come with the courage to be honest, even when it’s hard. I’m passionate about walking alongside these clients as they reconnect with themselves and each other, and begin to create the lives they truly want.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. We'll start by exploring what brought them to therapy and what they’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand their background, current challenges, and goals, but the session is really about beginning to build a sense of trust and comfort. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—this is a time to begin getting to know each other and to start creating a foundation for meaningful and collaborative work. Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what therapy with me will look like.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. With over 15 years in the mental health field, I bring not only experience, but also a deep sense of empathy, patience, and presence to each session. I have a strong intuitive sense for what clients need in the moment—whether it’s gentle encouragement, direct feedback, or simply someone to sit with them in their pain. I’m also highly adaptable in my approach, tailoring therapy to meet each person or couple where they are. My clients often tell me they feel supported, respected, and empowered in our work together, and I believe that’s because I bring authenticity, compassion, and a deep commitment to their growth and healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve adults and couples who are navigating periods of transition, emotional difficulty, or relationship strain, and who are seeking real, lasting change in their lives. These clients may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from themselves, their partners, or their sense of purpose. They are often individuals who have tried to "push through" on their own but are now ready to slow down, reflect, and do the deeper work. I work especially well with people who are open to exploring their inner world, even if they’re not quite sure where to begin. Whether it's unpacking patterns from the past, improving communication, rebuilding trust, or simply learning how to be more present and grounded, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where growth and healing can happen at a pace that feels right. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in over 15 years of experience across a wide range of mental health settings.

My treatment methods

Adlerian

The Adlerian method is a powerful therapeutic model because it emphasizes understanding the individual within their social context, promoting holistic healing and growth. It helps clients identify and shift unhelpful beliefs, empowering them to live with purpose and self-worth. By focusing on encouragement and goal setting, Adlerian therapy fosters lasting change and stronger interpersonal connections.
