Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Georgia, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I hold a Master of Theological Studies from Emory University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College. I have been licensed in Georgia 20 years. I help adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression with a history of trauma.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked for two decades in a variety of therapeutic settings, I have developed a calm and grounded approach to meeting clients where they are. I am open, transparent, and "real."
I love working professionals who are established in their careers and life, but who continue to struggle with anxiety and depression. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about a variety of aspects of their lives.
I have extensive training in IFS in the treatment of PTSD/CPTSD.
I am able to utilize somatic, neurological, cognitive, psychodynamic, and IFS techniques based on the needs and response of my clients.
