I’m Holly Ashley, LICSW, a clinical therapist dedicated to helping women heal, grow, and step into their purpose. Through a mind-body-spirit approach, I integrate biblical principles, holistic practices, and traditional therapeutic modalities to help women overcome anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional barriers. My work is about more than just coping—it’s about true transformation, equipping women with the tools to break free from limitations and create lasting change in their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can openly share their story, challenges, and goals. This session includes an initial intake assessment, which is a series of structured questions designed to help me understand their mental and emotional well-being, life experiences, and current struggles. We will explore topics such as stressors, past experiences, thought patterns, coping mechanisms, and personal goals to create a holistic picture of their needs. This assessment allows me to tailor the therapy process to their unique journey, ensuring they receive culturally competent and effective support. By the end of the session, clients will have a clear understanding of the therapeutic process, initial strategies to begin their healing journey, and a personalized plan for moving forward in alignment with their mind, body, and spirit.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my integrative, holistic approach to healing, my ability to create a safe and culturally affirming space, and my deep understanding of both clinical and spiritual transformation. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. Instead, I integrate biblical principles, holistic practices, and traditional therapeutic modalities to help my clients heal on a mind-body-spirit level. My work is rooted in evidence-based therapy techniques, yet I also recognize the power of spiritual alignment, emotional healing, and physical well-being in achieving lasting transformation. As a PhD student in Mind-Body Medicine, I bring an advanced understanding of how mental, emotional, and physical health are deeply interconnected. This allows me to guide my clients beyond symptom management, helping them address the root causes of anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional distress while providing practical strategies that promote inner healing and resilience. Beyond my clinical expertise, my experiences as a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and professional give me a unique perspective on the complexities of balancing personal growth, relationships, career, and well-being. I understand the challenges that come with navigating multiple roles, managing high expectations, and still prioritizing mental and emotional health. This allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level, offering guidance that is both practical and deeply personal. My spiritual component is not about religion—it’s about helping women develop inner strength, clarity, and alignment with their deeper purpose. Whether through mindfulness, self-reflection, or faith-based perspectives, I empower my clients to cultivate a mindset that supports healing, growth, and sustainable change. Ultimately, my strength as a provider is in my ability to blend clinical expertise with holistic wisdom and real-life experience, giving women the tools to break free from emotional barriers and step boldly into their purpose.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in providing culturally competent therapy for Black women, who are struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or depression or emotional barriers that keep them from fully stepping into their confidence and purpose. My clients are often students, professionals, entrepreneurs, or women navigating major life transitions who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their true selves. I provide a safe, affirming space for Black women to process their unique experiences, including racial stress, generational trauma, and societal pressures. I integrate holistic healing, mindset transformation, and traditional therapeutic modalities to help my clients break free from limiting beliefs, overcome emotional barriers, and step into their full potential.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice by helping clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to their anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. I guide them in developing healthier, more realistic thoughts and behaviors to break free from emotional challenges. CBT is especially effective in helping clients shift their mindset, which aligns well with the holistic approaches I use in conjunction with biblical principles.

Faith based therapy

I integrate biblical principles with therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate life's challenges. I focus on fostering a deeper understanding of their spiritual identity and aligning their actions with their faith to promote healing. By combining scriptural guidance with clinical strategies, I help clients strengthen clients relationship with God while addressing emotional and mental health concerns.

Integrative

In integrative therapy, I combine traditional therapeutic methods with holistic practices, such as mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual guidance. This approach allows me to address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—helping clients find balance and healing. I use integrative techniques to support clients in overcoming emotional challenges while fostering overall well-being and personal growth.
