Hi! I’m Mariel Feld, a licensed clinical social worker with over seven years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with people facing depression, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, using evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and EMDR to help you heal and grow. I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive, and affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where we’ll begin to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, personal history, and what you’d like to achieve in therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to share your concerns, ask questions, and tell me what’s most important to you in our work together. Together, we’ll begin to develop a plan tailored to your needs and goals, setting the foundation for a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My work has included providing therapy in urgent mental health care settings, supporting youth in residential programs, assisting survivors of sex trafficking, and offering personalized care in private practice. These experiences have deepened my commitment to helping clients find balance, growth, and healing.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with individuals who are ready to explore their emotions, heal from past traumas, and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating depression, or the lingering effects of trauma, whether from childhood, a single event, or complex experiences. I also specialize in supporting those going through significant life transitions, such as career changes, relationship challenges, or personal growth journeys. My practice is especially welcoming to individuals of diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and those seeking an inclusive, affirming space to feel understood and supported.
