I have used CBT in my practice since 2007. We may not be able to change our environment but we can change our way of thinking about it. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected, and by modifying negative thinking, we can improve our emotional well-being and overall mental health. CBT can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve coping skills. It can also help us enhance emotional regulation and break negative thought cycles and build healthy coping strategies.
I have experience in helping people process emotions related to grief. Adjust to life changes and assist with health coping mechanism. Everyone grieves differently. Therapy offers tailored support based on an individual’s unique needs, cultural background, and personal experiences.
I have experience in helping individuals to find the best version of themselves. Strength-based therapy is important because it focuses on a person’s strengths, abilities, and resources rather than just their problems or deficits. This positive approach helps individuals build resilience, confidence, and self-efficacy. It enhances self esteem, encourages positive coping strategies, supports mental health recover, and fosters resilience.
