About me

Hi and Welcome, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Connecticut with 9 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families in crisis. I have provided individual, group, and family therapy in a mental health agency setting while working with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, relationship conflict, and parenting struggles, and many more. My approach is tailored to each individual based on their specific needs, but is always warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Systems Theory in my work; however, I also incorporate other strategies such as skill building, mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Life is a journey that can feel overwhelming and lonely at times. It takes incredible bravery to recognize when you need help and to ask for it. You've already taken an important first step in the process of change, simply by being here. I would love to work with you to help you reach your goals and regain your footing on your path forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, clients can expect to have a safe place to share the challenges they've faced that have led them to seek additional help. They will be met with compassion and not judgement. We'll work together to better understand the issues and develop appropriate goals to move forward. My goal in a first session is to better understand the client in a way that they also feel understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients can expect to find a safe place with me with a strong therapeutic relationship where they feel understood and accepted. Out of that foundation is a place to grow, take risks, and accept challenges. Of course, you'll find sound models and tools here alongside a safe place to explore what's holding you back and look toward real and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with all types of different clients and personalities, but feel most adept with issues relating to depression, anxiety, and relationship struggles .
