I am a licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) based in Miami, FL, and I speak both English and Spanish. I earned my Master's Degree from Albizu University in Florida, and I am passionate about guiding individuals through life's challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and a touch of humor when appropriate. With extensive experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, narcissistic abuse, and the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community, I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and inclusive space where you feel truly heard and understood. If you’re ready to embark on a journey of healing and personal growth, I’m here to help!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, expect a judgment-free and honest conversation into what brought you here. We’ll talk about what’s weighing on you, your goals for therapy, and any patterns in your life that you’re starting to recognize (or that you suspect but haven’t fully unpacked yet). I’ll ask questions to get a sense of who you are but there’s no pressure to have all the answers right away. And don’t worry, this won’t be some awkward, scripted therapy session. I keep things real, and if we need to lighten the mood with some humor, I’m all for it. Therapy is about growth, not perfection, and our first session is just the beginning of that process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With five years of experience working with teens and young adults in both non-profit settings and private practice, I deeply understand the unique pressures they face—academic stress, identity struggles, family dynamics, and relationship challenges. My integrative, client-centered approach blends evidence-based techniques with empathy and humor, meeting clients where they are with both compassion and real talk. As a client in therapy myself, a survivor of narcissistic abuse, and a member of the LGBTQ community, my personal journey has deepened my understanding of struggle and resilience. I use these experiences to create a warm, safe, and relatable space where clients can explore their challenges and build meaningful change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people from the LGBTQ+ community, guiding them through the unique challenges they face (as a member of it myself) and creating that safe space that is sometimes missing in many settings. I also love working with individuals who are ready to recover from narcissistic abuse, set healthy boundaries in all their relationships, and break free from cycles of self-doubt and emotional exhaustion. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or questioning your reality because of toxic dynamics, I’m here to help. I also work with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and trauma. My approach is direct and insightful—with a touch of humor to help us laugh at life's absurdities. I build trust by taking the time to truly understand your story before gently challenging you. I believe in meeting you where you are and working at a pace that feels right for you. I enjoy working with clients who appreciate deep self-reflection and a reality check, guiding you to overcome limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns. I won't just nod along; I’ll challenge you when needed, celebrate your wins, and help you find clarity and confidence in your journey. If you’re ready to work through the past, build self-trust, and stop feeling like you have to be everything for everyone, then you’re in the right place!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship concerns. My approach is collaborative and practical, focusing on challenging cognitive distortions, developing coping strategies, and fostering healthier perspectives. I tailor CBT to each client’s unique needs, ensuring a supportive and affirming space.

Psychodynamic

I use Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape their present emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Through deep self-reflection, we uncover underlying conflicts, unresolved emotions, and recurring themes that may be influencing current struggles. My approach is insight-oriented and collaborative, helping clients gain awareness, process emotions, and develop healthier patterns. I create a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their inner world at their own pace—sometimes incorporating humor to make the process more approachable and engaging.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, accepted, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and client-driven, focusing on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuine support to help individuals explore their emotions and personal growth at their own pace. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to guide them toward self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients identify strengths, set goals, and create practical strategies for positive change. Rather than dwelling on problems, we focus on solutions, progress, and what’s already working. My approach is collaborative and future-oriented, empowering clients to develop clear, achievable steps toward their desired outcomes. I create a supportive and motivating space, were clients leave sessions with new insights, confidence, and actionable strategies to move forward.
