I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. For the past 12 years, I have provided short-term brief therapy to adults, couples, and families experiencing personal and professional challenges, including Caregiver exhaustion, difficulties in the workplace, within their relationships, significant life changes, grief, and loss. I work best with clients who are open to self-examination, motivated to change, and comfortable with collaboration. I believe it truly takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, after which we will delve into the specific challenges that prompted you to seek counseling. I will tailor my approach to your unique needs with an emphasis on self-determination and collaboration in your future sessions.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
I enjoy working with clients experiencing challenges in their lives and a desire for self-examination and change. My clients are eager to improve but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious. I can assist you in identifying the cause of your struggles and work with you in creating a plan based on empowerment.
I have found that CBT has helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
In addition to CBT, I have used mindfulness-based techniques to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and cultivate greater emotional regulation. I believe in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take control of their mental health journey.
When applicable, I have provided Grief counseling, in a safe and supportive environment, for clients to express their emotions, share their experiences, and process their grief without judgment.
