About me

I provide a nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating grief, depression, anxiety, codependency, and spiritual challenges. I have a deep respect for the wisdom and challenges that come with aging and have extensive experience working with older adults and families. In our work together, you can expect a safe, empathetic, and collaborative environment where your experiences are honored, and your path to healing is supported.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will include the intake, which is an informal interview to get to know you and what you are struggling with. From this first session, I work to build rapport and provide a space where you feel comfortable and can ask me questions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I bring not only professional training and clinical experience, but also the invaluable insight of lived experience. My journey has shaped a deep sense of empathy, authenticity, and connection that I offer to every client I work with. One of my greatest strengths is the ability to hold space for complex emotions without judgment. Having navigated my own challenges, I understand how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. My lived experience allows me to connect with clients in a grounded, human way—especially those who may feel isolated, misunderstood, or unseen in other parts of their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Areas of Expertise: Grief and Loss: Providing support for individual coping with various forms of loss, including bereavement, life transitions, and identify shifts. Trauma and EMDR: Utilizing EMDR to process and heal from traumatic experiences, facilitating the restoration of emotional well-being. My treatment methods

EMDR

As a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, I use this evidence-based approach to help clients process and heal from difficult or traumatic experiences that may still be impacting their present-day lives. EMDR is grounded in the understanding that unresolved memories from the past can continue to cause emotional distress, negative self-beliefs, and somatic symptoms.

Attachment-based

In my work as a therapist, I integrate attachment-based therapy to help clients explore and heal relational wounds that may have developed early in life and continue to affect their current relationships, sense of self, and emotional well-being. This approach is rooted in the understanding that our earliest experiences with caregivers shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us.

It's only our first session but I felt so incredibly comfortable that I told her things in that first hour that I haven't said to anyone ever!
