Licensed to practice in Maryland and accepts 31 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety and 4 more.
Are you feeling a little “off” lately? Down, anxious or unsure what comes next in life, especially after the last year or so? Or it could be you just don’t feel like yourself and you’re not sure why. You are not alone. To have problems means that you are human; but there is hope. I provide a warm, accepting space for people to explore what matters to them and what’s getting in their way. I help clients learn to feel more comfortable with their emotions, to experiment with different ways of relating to their thoughts and feelings, to cultivate resilience, and to develop the self-trust and self-compassion that will support them along their paths. Therapy provides you with a place to work on and work out your concerns, to be heard and reflect, and to take some space for yourself. Together, we will explore the underlying reasons for your troubles, what it might mean for you to “feel better” and begin to live a more productive, meaningful and engaged life. I use an integrative approach consisting of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.
In our first session, we will spend time exploring what is keeping you stuck and what you are hoping to achieve in our work together.
I really enjoy helping people that experience a lot of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I do this by helping people learn how to mindfully accept their feelings and thoughts.
I love working with clients that are eager for change and need tools to make that happen.

She actually seemed to be interested un the subject I was talking about. Where as most people get lost because they either aren't open minded enough to accept reality or they don't understand the subject. I have a pretty wide range of interests that would have uses to been considered conspiracy. And has bow been brought to light. My whole life I've been told I was crazy. She expressed ti ke thay she was interested in what I was saying. Felt empowering. I felt She was engaged without judgement.

Gina is a very good listener and made it easy to open up and talk about what has been bothering me. She listened without judgements and made me feel welcomed. It was only my first session with her but I'll definitely be going back!

I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her. She's a good listener. My last therapist was like talking to a wall. I got no feedback.
