Have you felt broken and are now ready to begin the process of healing? I am ready to embark on this journey with you. I have been practicing in the area of counseling and coaching for more than 15 years. I have experience with all populations from ages 3-80. My experience includes substance abuse, court-mandated counseling, family and relationship counseling, parenting, coaching, trauma and life transitions. Therapy with me is a personal journey with the client. My theoretical orientation is very person-centered and designed to surround the client's needs. I use an innovative approach that combines orientations such as CBT, Motivational interviewing, and client-centered therapy to create the best outcomes for the client.
In our first session you can expect to have a comfortable engaging meet and greet which will set the tone for our therapeutic relationship. In the first session there is no pressure at all. We will get to know each other on a personal and therapeutic level. I strongly focus on building rapport from the very first encounter. The first session should show you immediately that therapy is not intimidating at all, relationship and rapport are important, and you are the focus.
My treatment is very person-centered. I use a combination of CBT, motivational interviewing and solution focus therapy to achieve optimal outcomes.
My strength is to help clients identify their strengths. My ability to assist people in being unstuck using their power is my strength.
My best fit client is one who is ready to move forward in their lives. One who is tired of being stuck, of doing the same things over and over and expecting a different outcome. My ideal client is ready to look at the world through a new lense and gain and new outlook on their own strength. My ideal client comes prepare to work with the understanding that they may not succeed immediately but the value is in the journey and not just the success.

Andrea has been a critical catalyst and support to my personal growth journey the last 3 years. She has gotten me through several major life changes and is a phenomenal therapist. She is very honest, and direct with her insights but sometimes will guide me to the answer instead, and knows when to do either approach for the most impact. She also can read me somehow to know what I’m avoiding saying, and gets me to acknowledge and work on those challenges as well. She is exceptional at her work.

Andrea is a very down to earth authentic person with such a great personality. It was very easy for me to open up to her. I have only been meeting with her for a few weeks, but I've felt heard and understood every session. And I have started to see some improvements.
