(she/her)
I’m Mary Jackson-Webb, an LCSW, LAC, and CIMHP (Certified Integrated Mental Health Provider), trained to treat the whole person—mind, body, and lived experience. I’m also a certified EMDR provider. I offer warm, trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD/complex trauma, grief, and addiction recovery with co-occurring concerns. My style is person-centered, culturally responsive, and practical—focused on helping you feel safer, more grounded, and more like yourself again, one steady step at a time.
In our first session, we’ll take things at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. I’ll ask a few questions to understand what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you want to be different—without pressure to share every detail before you’re ready. Together we’ll identify a few clear goals and begin building a plan that fits your needs, often starting with grounding and coping strategies to help you feel more stable day-to-day. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. If trauma or addiction recovery is part of your story, we’ll talk about symptoms, triggers, and patterns with compassion and clarity, and discuss treatment options that may include EMDR and other evidence-based approaches when appropriate. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of next steps and whether I’m the right partner for your healing journey.
My greatest strengths are creating a calm, emotionally safe space and helping clients feel understood without judgment—especially when trauma, anxiety/depression, grief, and addiction recovery overlap. I’m skilled at balancing compassion with practical direction, so sessions feel supportive and purposeful, with clear goals and steady progress. I use an integrated, evidence-based approach that includes EMDR (when appropriate), CBT/DBT/ACT-informed skills, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing. Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, more hopeful, and better equipped to manage triggers, communicate needs, and make choices that support long-term healing and balance.
It is difficult—impossible even—to envision feeling better, feeling fulfilled, feeling connected, or simply feeling like yourself again. These emotions may result from substance use, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, or life/work stressors. I understand how daunting asking for help can be. I am here to support that first step by offering a safe, warm space where you can make your way through
