I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting in a stiff chair while someone silently nods at you. I bring both professionalism and a sense of humor into the room, because sometimes laughter really is the best coping skill .I’ve worked with teens, college students, and adults for the last 7 years. Some common concerns I have helped navigate are stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the big messy in-betweens that don’t necessarily always fit neatly into a diagnosis.
My goal in the first session is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel safe to share at your own pace. We’ll talk about your goals, background, what’s working (and not working) in your life, and start shaping a plan that feels realistic and helpful. Think of it as a relaxed conversation to map out a game plan.
I've had a variety of experience with different age groups. I meet my clients where they are at with a warm approach and some humor along the way.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and a little bit human (yes, I drink coffee, forget my keys, and binge Netflix too). I pull from evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy but tailor therapy to your unique needs. I see therapy as a partnership where you bring your lived experience, and I bring tools, perspective, and sometimes a corny metaphor or two. Together, we’ll work toward creating meaningful changes in your life—at your pace, in your style.
