You may feel overwhelmed by your emotions, struggle to set boundaries, or find yourself repeating unhealthy relationship patterns. If you grew up in a dysfunctional or emotionally invalidating environment, you may still be carrying those wounds into your daily life—impacting your self-esteem, relationships, and sense of stability. I specialize in helping women who feel emotionally stuck, drained, or unsure of how to manage intense feelings. Together, we’ will work to help you better understand your emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build boundaries that protect your peace without guilt. I also provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for women processing grief related to a terminated pregnancy. This is a deeply personal experience, and you deserve a space where you can process it openly and at your own pace. My approach is warm, direct, and supportive. I focus on helping you feel more in control of your emotions, more confident in your relationships, and more connected to yourself.
Whether you attend one session with me or 20, I want you to walk away from each session feeling seen, heard, understood, and empowered. Also, in therapy, we will explore the thinking patterns and behaviors that may be causing you distress today, allowing us to identify the roots of these issues and develop healthier coping strategies. Through a collaborative approach, we will work together to help you uncover the habits, thoughts, and feelings that are keeping you from living your authentic life. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where we can explore your concerns and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I believe that therapy is sacred work, so choosing the right therapist is very important. It’s sort of like trying on different pairs of shoes until you find the right fit. So, explore your options to ensure that your therapist align with your needs and treatment goals. As a therapist, I provide a safe space in which you can be expressive, respected, and transparent. I believe my greatest strength is creating a non-judgmental environment where clients are allowed to be vulnerable and open about their life experiences. Also, I am patient, empathetic, and understanding. Additionally, I employ bibliotherapy techniques to help you deepen your emotional journey through reading, writing, and reflection. These readings may include evidenced-based material, self-help books, articles, and/or literature that resonate with your journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply interconnected, like a three-stranded cord. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, we will work together to uncover and challenge these patterns, allowing you to see things from a new perspective. In time, we will focus on developing healthy coping strategies and protective factors to counteract these negative thoughts and emotions. By replacing unhelpful patterns with more balanced, realistic thinking, you’ll begin to experience positive shifts in your feelings and behaviors. Together, we’ll create practical tools and strategies to promote your personal growth and resilience, helping you take control of your mental well-being and move forward with confidence.
Psychodynamic
I utilize psychodynamic therapy techniques to help clients explore the deeper, often unconscious, aspects of their minds. It’s based on the idea that past experiences, especially from childhood, can shape the way a person think, feel, and behave today. In this type of therapy, we will work together to uncover how unresolved emotions or early life experiences may still be influencing your current struggles.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I utilize solution-focused therapy to help you understand your strengths, resources, and the solutions that can help you overcome challenges, rather than just exploring the problems or difficulties you're facing. The goal is to help you identify what has worked for you in the past, even in small ways, and to build on those successes. We also focus on your goals for the future and what steps you can take to get there, helping you create practical and achievable solutions.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use person-centered therapy that focuses on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Through empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, I help clients explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and reconnect with their inner strengths so they can move toward meaningful personal growth.
Christian Counseling
While I do not label myself as a Christian therapist, I integrate Christian principles such as grace, forgiveness, and purpose into our work when appropriate. My goal is to honor the divine nature within you while acknowledging the love, grace, mercy, and supernatural power of God.
