(he/him)
I am an African American male therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I am passionate about helping people overcome obstacles, build resilience, and thrive in meaningful ways. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow in ways that feel best for them.
Our first session will focus on gathering important background information, getting to know one another, and beginning to build a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic relationship.
I create safe, nonjudgmental spaces fostering growth, emotional balance, resilience, and meaningful change.
My ideal clients are individuals who are open to exploring their thoughts and emotions in order to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. They are willing to reflect on patterns and behaviors that may be limiting their growth and are motivated to make meaningful, lasting change.

I had a great intake session and immediately felt comfortable speaking openly. DeAngelo was very open-minded, authentic, and genuinely present during the conversation, which made the experience feel safe and supportive. I appreciated how thoughtfully he listened and would recommend him to anyone looking for a non-judgmental therapist.
