What happens after my 6 free sessions? How much will it cost?
After your no-cost EAP sessions, you may be able to continue care with your private health insurance, subject to your plan's terms and network participation, or through self-pay. Grow Therapy can assist with billing your preferred payment method.
The average cost per session with insurance is around $21, and you'll receive a personalized cost estimate before deciding to continue.
Can spouses, household members, or dependents use this benefit too?
Why do I need to enter my insurance information if the first 6 sessions are covered by my employer?
We collect your insurance details to match you with therapists who accept it in case you choose to continue care after your free sessions. If you'd rather not use insurance, simply select "Continue without insurance" when searching for a provider.
What if I don't like my provider? Can I switch?
Yes — you can switch providers and use any remaining free sessions you have. Your free sessions apply to any provider who accepts Amazon on Grow.
What do I do if my insurance isn't listed?
If your insurance isn't listed, choose "Continue without insurance." You'll still receive your free sessions and can keep seeing your provider afterward using self-pay if you'd like.
Can Amazon see anything about my sessions?
No. Grow Therapy never shares session details or notes with your employer. We may share anonymized, aggregate reports about program usage that cannot identify individual participants. Any information disclosure follows applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Can providers on Grow prescribe medication?
Yes, but your free sessions only apply to Talk Therapy. If you'd like to find a provider who can prescribe medication, you will need to use insurance or self-pay and book through Grow's regular marketplace here.
I'm already using Grow, how do I receive my 6 free sessions?
Log in to your account here and message Support. Our team will apply your free sessions and make sure your existing provider and appointments are covered under your employer benefit. If that isn't the case, we can help you find a provider who accepts your 6 free sessions.
