Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) based in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master's degree from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM and have been practicing since 2012. My goal is to help my clients access their authentic selves and build their self-worth through a holistic, creative, and transformational process. My specializations include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and grief/loss. I know things are difficult right now. We are living in some pretty confusing times. Please reach out to me and know you're not alone. Whatever you're struggling with, whatever you'd like to change about your current situation, you don't have to do this by yourself.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will spend time going over your goals for therapy and collaborating to create a plan for treatment to ensure we are honoring the time we spend together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My experience with many different populations over the years, including refugees, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and those struggling with the disease of addiction has helped me cultivate a strong sense of empathy and compassion for a wide variety of issues. It is my honor to provide a safe and inclusive space to explore and grow.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have experience working with those struggling with mental health issues including depression and anxiety, as well as focusing on addiction, grief, and trauma. I also have specialized training in addressing shame issues through Brené Brown's "Daring Way" program. My nurturing approach will benefit clients who are searching for meaning and purpose, and interested cultivating joy in their lives. Clients who identify as neurodiverse can feel safe reaching out, as I embrace and validate the lived experiences of my clients. You are the expert on your life!
