About me

Hey there!! I'm Sara. Sometimes we just need someone to listen. We're all human, we all struggle, and despite what many think... that's what normal looks like. With me, you'll be in a safe, non-judgmental place to share whatever you feel led. I am very laid back and work at the pace you feel comfortable. I will strive to help you find the things inside of you that will help you overcome past struggles and allow you to grow. I believe that it's not my place to advise you on what you should do, but encourage you to make the changes that best fit your season of life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will go over your history and talk about what you are seeking to gain in treatment. This is YOUR treatment and you are the number one person in charge of how we proceed. My goal is to help you help yourself achieve the goals you are seeking. You are the author of your own story.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, I strive to be encouraging, positive, motivating, non-judgmental, and relatable. My goal as a therapist is to help you find the strength within yourself to make changes you want to make that will improve the quality of your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

In addition to providing therapy on Grow, I work in an intensive outpatient program for senior citizens battling depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Though I am willing to work with any demographics, I specialize in older adults, teens, and parents.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I believe Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Christian Counseling are similar in how the ultimate goal is to learn how to look at the world and your situation from a different perspective. I use CBT and faith-based therapy with those who are interested. Religion is not something I force upon anyone and would only implement this method when requested.
