New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience helping children, adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups work through life’s challenges. I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting struggles, relationship issues, anger management, and recovery from trauma, including sexual abuse. I also have extensive training in play therapy and family systems work, making me especially effective in supporting children and their families.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, you can expect a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where we will explore your concerns, set goals, and begin creating a plan tailored to your unique needs. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy to help clients recognize unhelpful patterns, develop practical strategies, and experience lasting change.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients often share that what stands out in my work is my ability to balance warmth and empathy with structured, evidence-based methods that lead to meaningful progress. My goal is to equip you with tools that not only bring relief now but also empower you to thrive in the future.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or searching for healthier ways to cope and connect, I am well positioned to help you identify strengths, build new skills, and move toward the goals you want to achieve.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive training and over 30 years of clinical experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their emotional distress or challenges. Together, we work on reframing negative thinking, developing healthier coping skills, and practicing problem-solving strategies.
