New to Grow
I’m a down-to-earth therapist who believes real change starts with honesty and being able to show up as your full self. I bring warmth, a little humor, and genuine curiosity to help you sort through the tough stuff and feel more like you again. I’m a bit nerdy, definitely authentic, and love helping people strengthen boundaries, let go of people-pleasing, and feel more confident taking up space in their own lives. If you want someone supportive who will be honest with you (kindly!), we’ll be a good fit.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will feel like a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we get to know each other—what’s been going on, what you’re hoping for, and what’s getting in the way. You don’t need to have the perfect words or all your goals figured out; we’ll explore that together. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you make sense of things, and maybe share a laugh or two. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be real and feel supported every step of the way.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My biggest strength? I’m real. You’ll get honesty, warmth, and support—no fake therapist voice or one-size-fits-all advice. I’ll cheer you on, gently challenge you when needed, and help you see the progress you might be missing. I pull from ACT, DBT, CBT, and relational approaches, and I keep everything practical and easy to apply in daily life. I’m especially skilled at helping people untangle codependency, quiet their inner critic, and build confidence while staying true to who they are. Expect compassion, accountability, and a little humor—because growth doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults, especially women navigating the stress of people-pleasing, self-doubt, and figuring out who they are. Maybe you’re in that strange “in-between” stage of adulting, trying to break old patterns or finally feel like you’re enough. In our work together, you’ll get validation, humor, and honest feedback delivered with kindness. We’ll explore the hard stuff, unlearn what’s been weighing you down, and build confidence from the inside out. My goal is to help you find your voice, set boundaries without guilt, and show up as your full, imperfect, amazing self.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to accept their thoughts and emotions rather than struggle against them. Together, we explore what truly matters to you and identify value-based actions that lead to a more meaningful life. I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion practices to support clients in developing awareness and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to distress, anxiety, and self-doubt. Together, we work to replace these thoughts with more balanced and empowering perspectives. I often combine CBT techniques with mindfulness and values-based work to create a personalized, well-rounded approach to healing and self-understanding.
Relational
I take a relational approach to therapy, emphasizing the importance of connection, trust, and authenticity within the therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing happens through safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to model healthy communication and boundaries in our work together. This approach helps clients explore how their past and present relationships shape their sense of self and supports them in developing deeper, more fulfilling connections with others.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In my work with clients, I use DBT to help build skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy interpersonal communication. I integrate these tools in a practical, compassionate way, helping clients reduce emotional reactivity, improve relationships, and feel more in control of their emotions. My approach balances validation with gentle challenge to support lasting growth and change.
