I have over 27 years of experience as a therapist. I’ve seen the incredible potential for healing and self-discovery that can emerge when young people feel understood and supported. My goal is to help each client find their voice, strengthen their sense of self, and move forward with confidence and clarity. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore who they are, express their feelings freely, and develop practical tools for coping and growth.
Our first therapy session will be all about getting comfortable and getting to know each other. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. We’ll just talk about what’s been going on, what brings you to therapy, and what you’d like to get out of the process.
What makes my work unique is my deep commitment to teens and young adults — and to truly connecting with each person I meet. I understand that these years can be full of pressure, uncertainty, and change, and my goal is to offer a space where you can feel seen, heard, understood, and supported.
I specialize in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate the challenges of growing up in today’s complex world. My work focuses on helping young people build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience as they face issues such as anxiety, depression, identity development, academic or social stress, and transitions into adulthood.
My experience as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) therapist is to support clients as they challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. I help clients work to recognize negative thinking patterns, develop more balanced perspectives, and practice coping strategies in real-life situations.
My experience as a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist is to support clients as they develop skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I work with clients to manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve relationships.
