Suzette is passionate about helping people and assisting them to attain their dreams and goals./ She believes in meeting people where they are at and listening nonjudgmentally allowing people to be heard and understood. Suzette also believes in working with the person to provide case management when needed. If the uncertainty of life and life circumstances begin to overwhelm you Suzette will be there to listen and guide you to the place you hope and long to be./ She does understand the complexity of life and relationships/ and has a background in working with victims and families of domestic violence, trauma survivors and individuals struggling with depression, PTSD and anxiety./ Suzette also has a background working with persons with Bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, eating disorders and substance use disorders./ She has also worked with children and teens utilizing play therapy and animal assisted therapy. Suzette has a background in Suicide prevention and intervention along with Mental Health First Aid./ Suzette also taught for many years as a Mental Health First Aid national trainer and an international instructor for Safe TALK suicide prevention, and an instructor for ASK about Suicide./ She managed several successful mental health programs at one of the largest mental health organizations in the nation./ Suzette believes we all have the ability to grow and change with a little help. She is also tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Suzette believes in a more holistic approach offering suggestions to assist and patients growth.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you are facing. This will help me to create a unique plan for us to work on in follow up sessions.
