I am a Bilingual (English-Spanish) licensed therapist with a passion to provide person-centered, strengths based, trauma informed and culturally sensitive treatment. I am a strong believer in the idea that we have the solutions to our problems within and I encourage clients to do introspection to find their answers. I strive to create a safe, warm, compassionate environment for clients to heal, explore and learn. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and genders. However, as a working Latina, mother of 3, I have a passion for working with women and minorities. I graduated from the University of New England with a master's in Clinical Social Work and I have over 5 years of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. I have been trained in person-centered treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Treatment, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Treatment. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, suicide ideations, trauma, and relationship issues, among others. I also have extensive training and work experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, the focus will be on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your current concerns, your background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you might have about the therapy process. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this is your space, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can begin to explore, heal, and grow. By the end of the session, we’ll start identifying some initial goals and talk about next steps so you can feel confident and clear about the journey ahead.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize mainly cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. I make sure that my client have tools and develop skills to manage their lives most effectively and healthily.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my capacity to build rapport with my clients, making them feel safe and comfortable sharing challenging situations. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space for them to heal, grow and explore their patterns, needs and wants.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with individuals who are healing from trauma, including the deep and often hidden wounds of narcissistic abuse. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying the weight of past experiences that have impacted their sense of self, their relationships, and their ability to feel safe in the world. I’m especially attuned to supporting those who struggle with low self-esteem, anxiety, people-pleasing tendencies, and feeling like they’ve lost themselves in the process of trying to be “enough” for others. Together, we work on building self-worth from the inside out, setting boundaries, and reconnecting with your voice, your needs, and your power. Whether you’re just beginning to unpack your story or already on your healing journey, I provide a grounded, compassionate space where you can process, grow, and begin to feel like you again.
