I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University in Atlanta. Additionally, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With my extensive training and experience, I am committed to assisting couples, families, and individuals who may be grappling with a range of challenges and obstacles. In my practice, I aim to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can freely express themselves and explore their emotions.
During the first session, I focus on us getting to know each other and comfortable with each other. My job is to listen and ask questions that are aimed at not only getting an idea of what is bringing you to therapy, but to also get to know you as a person.
My goal is to always work myself out of a job with you. I feel my greatest strength is helping clients; whether individuals, families, or a couples; gain the skills and insight to tackle issues from a healthy place and in a way that works for them.
Attachment - based therapy is a modality I use greatly with those struggling in their relationships with others or those who have issues with boundaries.
CBT is my go-to treatment modality for clients who are struggling with anxiety and/or depression.
I am passionate about my work with couples and focus greatly on helping couple identify and create the type of relationship they want and one that works for them.
EFT is a treatment modality I utilize most with couples who are having a difficult time connecting with each other emotionally.
I focus on helping families who may feel disconnected from each other and are having trouble understanding each other. My goal is to help families get to a healthy place where all members feel valued.
