About me

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado, Texas, Nevada, Iowa, and Hawaii (and Washington pending). I view therapy as a partnership focused on healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. I work with a wide range of adults seeking relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related concerns, and I tailor my approach to each person’s unique story. My goal is to help you strengthen your sense of self, improve relationships, and develop practical tools to live with greater peace and authenticity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You can expect a calm, supportive space where you can speak freely without judgment. Together, we’ll begin to identify what’s working in your life and what areas may need support, so we can create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I integrate evidence-based approaches with empathy and curiosity, helping clients identify patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and build emotional resilience. I meet clients where they are and support them in developing practical tools for change and self-compassion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to prioritize themselves—often for the first time. My ideal client may have spent years putting others’ needs before their own and now wants to rediscover who they are, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate inner peace. Together, we focus on reducing anxiety, improving self-esteem, and creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors contributing to emotional distress. In practice, I integrate psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, and behavioral activation to promote symptom reduction and emotional regulation. I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized coping strategies and reinforce skills between sessions to support long-term change.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. Through mindfulness, clients learn to respond rather than react to stressors. I integrate breathing exercises, grounding strategies, and mindful reflection into sessions, encouraging clients to develop a consistent mindfulness practice to enhance emotional regulation and reduce anxiety.

Humanistic

I use a person-centered approach grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment that fosters self-exploration and growth. This approach allows clients to gain clarity, build self-awareness, and make empowered choices aligned with their values.
