Hello there! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Barry University and have been practicing for 6 years however I have been in the social services field for 10 years. I help individuals struggling with life transition, self esteem and family conflict. I am dedicated to helping individuals find their voice and move forward from generational trauma while dealing with the shifts in family dynamics. I am an aspiring licensed clinician who looks to continue working with the community at large. I am fluent in Haitian-Creole as a second language.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will introduce ourselves and identify the specific challenges that are causing distress in your daily routine. We will work together on identifying your goals for treatment to process in your scheduled follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with many individuals for the several years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping individuals (a) identify and process the cause of their challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to progress they can see and measure.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy. It may help you to change unhelpful or unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. CBT uses practical self-help strategies. These are designed to immediately improve your quality of life. CBT can be an effective way to treat depression and anxiety.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy or counselling that aims at addressing the needs of children and adolescents with post traumatic stress disorder and other difficulties related to traumatic life events.
