Life feels heavy right now. You’re carrying burdens you never expected, wondering where God is in the midst of it all. The dreams you once had feel distant, and the plans you believed were aligned with God’s will seem to have fallen apart. You’re trying to navigate the transitions, the questions, and the emotions, but it’s exhausting, and you feel alone in the struggle. I want you to know: you’re not alone, and this moment is no accident. God led you here to learn how much He's actually put inside of you, which are MANY things beyond your imagination!
A typical first session with me is a time for me to get to know you and ask background questions to understand what you've experienced that's led you to come to counseling, in addition to identifying patterns of behavior, thinking, and beliefs that shape the way you see yourself, others, and the world. It's very personable and conversational.
The approach I mainly use is Person-Centered & Christian-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which deals with helping you to reframe negative thoughts and change them to positive ones. I also use Rational Emotive Therapy, which deals with getting to the root of irrational beliefs regarding distressing situations.
I offer Christian Counseling that is Holy Spirit-led for women who are navigating anxiety, depression, or difficult life transitions. As a Christian Woman, I understand the confusion and longing to see God's hand at work in your life. Through our work together, you'll find God's strength in your weakness.
I offer faith-based counseling to women struggling with depression, anxiety, and life transitions and help them to reframe their thought and beliefs to be more Christ-centered. This treatment is primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy lense.
