I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults across a range of emotional and behavioral concerns. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental, where clients feel safe to explore their experiences openly. I believe that emotional distress is a natural response to life’s challenges and that, with appropriate support, individuals can develop insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies. I am committed to working collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities, including LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse individuals, and I prioritize creating an affirming and inclusive therapeutic space.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity to begin building a therapeutic relationship and to develop a shared understanding of the client’s concerns and goals. During this session, I will gather relevant background information, discuss what brings the client to therapy, and explore what they hope to achieve through treatment. Clients are encouraged to ask questions and share any concerns they may have about the therapeutic process. The initial session is intentionally paced to ensure comfort and clarity. My goal is for clients to leave the first appointment feeling heard, respected, and informed about how therapy may proceed moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is integrative, evidence-based, and client-centered. I draw from modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed practices, EMDR, narrative therapy, and strengths-based interventions. Treatment is tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. I view therapy as a collaborative process and work with clients to identify patterns, understand underlying influences, and develop practical skills that support meaningful and sustainable change. Throughout the process, I emphasize emotional safety, curiosity, and empowerment, helping clients build insight while also strengthening their ability to manage day-to-day challenges.

Daniel does a really good job being open and honest. He knows how to listen and where to challenge me. Every follow-up he has all the details of what we've talked about. Revisits the topics we need to work on and helps move me forward. He has been a huge help
