As an Army Brat and Marine wife, I understand the unique challenges faced by military families. I'm also a mother of three young men, spending my weekends cheering them on at swim meets. Fully licensed in Georgia, Virginia and New Jersey, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences and work towards your personal growth. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to well-being.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
My clinical approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to support meaningful and lasting change. At the foundation of my work is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT which I have used for over 14 years. CBT is a collaborative and goal-oriented approach that helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts emotions and behaviors and develop practical strategies for change. I also integrate Trauma Focused CBT and Solution Focused techniques when appropriate allowing sessions to be both structured and flexible. This approach works best for clients who are ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process and partner in building insight, coping skills and solutions that support healing growth and resilience.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Key strengths I bring into our sessions are my ability to listen deeply and meet clients with empathy and without judgment. With over 14 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I bring understanding, perspective, and respect for each person’s unique story. I take the time to truly understand what matters to you, helping you feel heard, supported, and valued. My passion for this work shows in the care and attention I bring to each session, as I work alongside clients to support healing, personal growth, and overall well-being.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve clients who are open to exploring their inner self and motivated to understand and overcome personal challenges. These individuals are ready to engage in meaningful, reflective conversations and committed to personal growth. Whether navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, or major life transitions, I offer a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can work toward their goals. Together, we focus on building insight, resilience, and a more fulfilling, balanced life.

Hillery is phenomenal! I struggle with anxiety, especially when I feel like things are out of my control. Hillery empowers me by suggesting tools I can use to feel like I'm in control again (i.e. carve out time during my day for a walk or meditation). She's also really great about putting things into perspective and helping me to reframe so they're not so intimidating.
