With over 19 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals to navigate life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, medical issues, and infertility. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my deep empathy, understanding, and ability to relate to others. I began my career working with children in the child welfare system, supporting those who had experienced trauma. Since then, I have worked extensively with a wide range of trauma survivors, including those affected by sexual abuse, child abuse, and domestic violence. I am passionate about helping individuals find healing and peace with their past experiences. Throughout my career, I have also worked with individuals struggling to find motivation or direction in their lives. Whether supporting a young adult unsure of their next steps, an individual coping with depression or grief, or someone with anxiety hesitant to make changes, I am dedicated to helping clients take meaningful steps toward progress and growth. Additionally, my experience includes counseling individuals facing the emotional impact of chronic medical conditions. As a cancer survivor, I have a unique understanding of the challenges associated with medical concerns, chronic pain, and infertility, and I am committed to helping others navigate these experiences with resilience. Cultural competence is central to my practice. Having traveled extensively and lived in diverse parts of the world, I bring a deep appreciation for working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Beginning counseling can feel daunting, and I strive to create a comfortable, supportive environment for each client. My approach is warm, patient, and client-centered, allowing clients to identify their own goals while I offer guidance. Additionally, I am insight-oriented and logical, often helping clients develop new perspectives and understandings of their situations. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support your journey toward healing and growth.
