Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Slippery Rock, Pa and I have continued to practice within the use of cognitive based therapy for over 20 years. I assist adolescents to adults with managing symptoms and negative thinking patterns associated with depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts which remain a barrier towards your desired outcomes. I specialize in decreasing thought distortions that lead to anxiety and teaching coping skills to assist in managing anxiety symptoms as they present. I work most often from a strength based approach in supporting clients as they learn to identify and challenge thoughts and experiences driving depressive symptoms.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am able to easily connect with clients immediately and begin building rapport as I remain nonjudgmental and empathetic towards each individual person. I enjoy helping others to grow and reach their potential as I understand the difficulties that this life offers each of us. I listen intently, collaboratively work through negative thoughts and I’m hear to always listen.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Most of my experience has been with adolescent clients and young adults that struggle with self discovery, self-esteem, anxiety, depression and the effects of generational trauma.
