New to Grow
I am a graduate of ASU’s nationally accredited Master of Counseling program and completed my doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Trident University. With over 17 years of experience, I use a holistic, whole-health approach to treatment. This means addressing mental, physical, and social challenges in your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, safety, housing, employment, enjoyment, and purpose. I keep my sessions clinical and casual, so it feels like we are just talking rather than in a old-time doctor's office.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect three things: support, clarity, and a collaborative plan. I’ll take time to understand what brings you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you hope will be different. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and less alone, while also giving you practical next steps you can start using right away. The fourth thing you may expect is a cat or two joining us on video! Clients often describe our sessions as conversational yet impactful — a mix of warmth, humor, and honest guidance. You’ll leave with a clearer picture of what’s going on, along with ideas and tools tailored to your situation. Because I intentionally keep a smaller caseload, I’m able to provide thoughtful, personalized attention as we move forward. Whether you’re looking for space to process, education about patterns, or support in making meaningful changes, we’ll shape the work around your goals and pace. Therapy is collaborative, and while outcomes can’t be guaranteed, many clients find that having structure, insight, and steady support helps them create real movement in their lives.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I'm casual in session, I'm effective, and I'm holistic, approaching what you need from all angles to ensure you get all the answers you can.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I frequently work with professionals, leaders, caregivers, and high-achievers who want more than symptom management — they want to feel lighter, more resilient, and more themselves again. Whether you’re starting therapy for the first time or returning after a difficult season, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and thoughtful. I accept insurance through Headway and provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to your goals. If you’re ready to explore what’s getting in the way — and build tools to move forward — I’d be honored to work with you and I will help you.
