Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will do introductions, understand what has led you to pursue therapy, and begin to work on identifying a plan for subsequent sessions to address areas of concern.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a provider is being empathetic and providing strategies for clients to use to work on reducing symptom burden and distress. I consider it an honor to be a therapist and walk through the difficulties of life with clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

A ideal client is someone who is motivated for change. I enjoy helping individuals who are new to learning how to manage their mental health or have recently received a diagnosis. I have enjoyed working with individuals who are navigating early adulthood challenges and working to become an even better version of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to discuss how to work with your thoughts. Talking through difficult situations can be essential in finding a way forward.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT skills are a great evidence based tool to help individuals more effectively manage waves of emotion and impulsivity. It allows someone to take back control over time.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Sometimes when life hits us in waves it feels difficult to keep fighting. ACT helps individuals recognize what is most important and encourages take small steps towards living a life more aligned with those values. This can provide a significant level of relief.
